STOP/END the Google Backup Sync Process using Task Scheduler. The syntax of the commands is quite complicated, so the developers have added a separate TaskScheduler module to PowerShell Pack (a part of Windows 7 Resource Kit) that significantly simplifies the creation of scheduled tasks in PowerShell 2.0.
Double-click on the – Registry Backup task in Task. To change the schedule to weekly, click on the Edit Schedule button which opens the Task Scheduler window. If you’ve chosen Run under Current User account, then the task runs at every login. The scheduled task is configured to run at every startup if using the System account.
